Mielso collaborates with the social cause La Caixa
Mielso joins the Alliance for Childhood Vaccination, an initiative created 15 years ago by the ”la Caixa” Foundation in collaboration with Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance and in which ISGlobal participates as a scientific and academic partner. This alliance has its origins in the desire to offer Spanish companies the opportunity to collaborate in a cooperation project against infant mortality in developing countries with problems of access to universal healthcare.
Since its creation, the Childhood Vaccination Alliance has helped vaccinate nearly 9 million children under 5 years of age in the world’s 73 poorest countries, giving them a future. This year we hope to significantly expand these figures thanks to the collaboration of companies and entities like yours, and also that of CaixaBank employees and those supportive people who decide to help protect the health of the little ones through microdonations. .
Contributions will be used to distribute vaccines in Mozambique and Ethiopia to prevent pneumonia, the largest cause of childhood mortality from infectious diseases on a global scale.
